Distribution
xpedx is a distribution and logistics company with a fleet of 1,000 tractor-trailers handling approximately 9,000 delivery stops per day that are dispatched from more than 100 distribution centres throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. From 2001-2006, xpedx reduced its diesel fuel consumption by 30 percent, using 13 percent less litres per 100 kilometres from its fleet, and reducing the number of kilometres driven per year by 21 percent. Printing & Publishing
Because we represent the majority of papermakers in North America, Europe and Asia, xpedx offers a broad selection of papers with recycled content, post-consumer waste content and top third-party certifications. In 2006, xpedx U.S. became the first U.S. paper distributor to receive both Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain-of-Custody (CoC) certifications and in 2008, became CoC certified to the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) standard.

xpedx Canada is tri-certified to the FSC, SFI and PEFC standards in Ontario (merchant and stores divisions). In Western Canada we are certified to the FSC standard.

Manufacturing
As a leading distributor of packaging supplies and equipment, xpedx is committed to helping our manufacturing customers meet sustainability goals without sacrificing business objectives. Our packaging representatives create value for customers through innovative primary and secondary package designs that are centred on “reduce, re-use, recycle, and renew” best practices (read more). We also represent a growing number of suppliers with sustainable packaging product offerings.

Facility Maintenance
As a leading distributor of facility supplies and equipment, xpedx represents an increasing number of suppliers with “green” programs and/or third-party certifications.
